Last updated: September 4, 2026

Acceptance of the Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and trustedprocontractors.com, operated as Trusted Pro Contractors (the "Company," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern access to and use of trustedprocontractors.com, including the content, features, accounts, forms, and services offered through it (the "Website"), whether you visit as a guest or use a registered account.

Read these Terms before using the Website. By accessing or using it, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy available at https://trustedprocontractors.com/page/privacy-policy, which is incorporated into this agreement. If you do not accept both documents, do not access or use the Website.

The Website is offered to people who are at least 18 years old and reside in the United States or its territories or possessions. By using it, you represent that you are legally able to enter a binding agreement and satisfy these eligibility requirements.

Changes to the Terms of Use

We may revise these Terms at our discretion. Unless a later effective date is stated, revisions apply when posted and govern access to and use of the Website from that point forward.

Using the Website after revised Terms are posted means you accept those revisions. Review this page periodically because updates are binding once effective.

Accessing the Website and Account Security

We may withdraw, suspend, restrict, or change the Website and any feature, service, or material without advance notice. We are not liable when any part of the Website is unavailable. Access to some or all features may be limited from time to time, including for registered users.

You are responsible for arranging your access to the Website and ensuring that anyone using your internet connection understands and follows these Terms.

Information supplied during registration or through an interactive feature must be accurate, complete, and current. Registration and other personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, and you consent to our handling of that information consistently with the policy.

Usernames, passwords, access codes, and other security information must be kept confidential. An account is personal and must not be shared with another person or entity. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, misuse of credentials, or another security breach, and sign out after each session, particularly on a shared or public device.

We may disable a username, password, or identifier at any time when we consider it necessary, including when we believe these Terms have been violated.

Intellectual Property Rights

The Website and its content, features, and functionality—including software, text, displays, images, video, audio, design, selection, and arrangement—are owned by the Company, its licensors, or other content providers. They are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade-secret, and other proprietary-rights laws.

These Terms permit personal, non-commercial use of the Website. Except as expressly allowed below, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display or perform, republish, download, store, or transmit Website material.

You may:

Allow your browser or device to store temporary copies needed to display the Website.

Retain files automatically cached by a browser for display performance.

Print a reasonable number of Website pages for personal, non-commercial use, without further reproduction, publication, or distribution.

Download one copy of an application we provide for personal, non-commercial use, subject to any applicable end-user license.

You must not:

Alter copies of Website material.

Separate illustrations, photographs, video, audio, or graphics from accompanying text for unauthorized use.

Remove or change copyright, trademark, or proprietary-rights notices.

Use any part of the Website, its services, or its materials commercially unless we expressly authorize it.

If you use or provide access to Website material in violation of these Terms, your permission ends immediately. At our option, you must return or destroy unauthorized copies. No ownership interest is transferred to you, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Otherwise interfere with proper operation of the Website.

User Contributions

The Website may offer profiles, reviews, messages, forums, public notifications, project forms, or other interactive features ("Interactive Services") through which users can submit, publish, display, or transmit content or materials ("User Contributions").

User Contributions must satisfy the Content Standards below. Content submitted for posting is treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. By providing a User Contribution, you grant the Company, its affiliates, service providers, licensees, successors, and assigns a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free right to host, reproduce, modify, format, perform, display, distribute, and otherwise use or disclose that material as reasonably connected with operating, promoting, and providing the Website, subject to applicable account settings and law.

You represent and warrant that you own or control the necessary rights in each User Contribution, can grant this license, and that your contributions comply with these Terms.

You are responsible for every User Contribution you submit, including its legality, reliability, accuracy, and appropriateness. We are not responsible to you or a third party for the content or accuracy of material posted by users.

Monitoring and Enforcement; Termination

We may:

Remove or refuse a User Contribution at our discretion.

Refer suspected illegal or unauthorized activity to law enforcement or take other legal action.

Suspend or terminate access to all or part of the Website, including for a violation of these Terms.

We may cooperate with law-enforcement authorities and comply with a court order requesting or directing disclosure of the identity or information of a person who posts material through the Website.

To the extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless the Company and its affiliates, licensees, and service providers from claims arising from actions they take during, or as a consequence of, investigations by those parties or law-enforcement authorities.

We do not promise to review all material before publication or to remove objectionable content immediately. We are not responsible for action or inaction concerning user or third-party transmissions, communications, or content.

Reliance on Information Posted

Information available through the Website is provided for general informational purposes. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, usefulness, availability, pricing, credentials, or suitability. Any reliance on it is at your own risk.

The Website may contain material supplied by users, bloggers, service professionals, marketplace partners, licensors, aggregators, or other third parties. Statements and opinions in third-party material belong solely to the person or entity providing them and do not necessarily reflect the Company's views. We are not responsible for the accuracy or content of third-party material.

Links or redirects may lead to Thumbtack or another independent third-party service. That service controls its website, professionals, quotes, communications, policies, and practices. References to a third-party brand do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, certification, or approval of Trusted Pro Contractors.

Changes to the Website

We may revise Website content from time to time. Material may be incomplete or out of date, and we have no obligation to update every item.

Information About You and Your Visits to the Website

Information collected through the Website is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Website, you consent to actions taken with your information that are consistent with that policy.

Geographic Restrictions

The Website owner is based in the United States, and the Website is intended for use by people located in the United States.

We do not represent that the Website or its content is appropriate or legally available in every other country. If you access it from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with applicable local law.

Disclaimer of Warranties

You understand that we cannot guarantee that files available through the internet, the Website, or a linked website will be free from viruses or destructive code. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate anti-virus protection, verifying data input and output, and keeping an independent method for reconstructing lost data.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY IS NOT LIABLE FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE CAUSED BY A DENIAL-OF-SERVICE ATTACK, VIRUS, OR OTHER HARMFUL TECHNOLOGY THAT MAY AFFECT EQUIPMENT, PROGRAMS, DATA, OR OTHER MATERIAL BECAUSE OF YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE, A SERVICE OR ITEM OBTAINED THROUGH IT, A DOWNLOAD FROM IT, OR A LINKED WEBSITE.

YOU USE THE WEBSITE, ITS CONTENT, AND ITEMS OR SERVICES OBTAINED THROUGH IT AT YOUR OWN RISK. THEY ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES.

NEITHER THE COMPANY NOR A PERSON ASSOCIATED WITH IT WARRANTS THE COMPLETENESS, SECURITY, RELIABILITY, QUALITY, ACCURACY, OR AVAILABILITY OF THE WEBSITE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE OR ITS CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, CORRECTED WHEN DEFECTIVE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR NEEDS.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL STATUTORY, EXPRESS, AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS DOES NOT LIMIT WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.

Limitation on Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY, ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, AND DIRECTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY FOR DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE WEBSITE, A LINKED WEBSITE, WEBSITE CONTENT, OR A SERVICE OR ITEM OBTAINED THROUGH THEM.

THIS LIMITATION INCLUDES DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, AND PUNITIVE DAMAGES; PERSONAL INJURY; PAIN AND SUFFERING; EMOTIONAL DISTRESS; LOSS OF REVENUE, PROFITS, BUSINESS, ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, USE, GOODWILL, OR DATA; AND DAMAGES ARISING IN TORT, NEGLIGENCE, CONTRACT, OR ANOTHER THEORY, EVEN WHEN FORESEEABLE.

THIS SECTION DOES NOT EXCLUDE OR LIMIT LIABILITY THAT APPLICABLE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW TO BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, licensors, service providers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, suppliers, successors, and assigns from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Website.

This obligation includes claims connected with User Contributions, unauthorized use of Website content, services, or products, and misuse of information obtained through the Website.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Wyoming law governs all matters relating to the Website and these Terms, including non-contractual disputes, without applying rules that would select another jurisdiction's law.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, a lawsuit concerning the Website or these Terms must be brought in the federal courts of the United States or the state courts located in Wyoming. We may bring an action against you in your country of residence or another relevant jurisdiction when appropriate. You waive objections to jurisdiction and venue in the designated courts to the extent legally permitted.

Arbitration

At the Company's election and where legally enforceable, a dispute arising from the Website or these Terms—including a dispute about interpretation, breach, validity, performance, or termination—may be submitted to final and binding arbitration under the applicable rules of the American Arbitration Association, applying Wyoming law.

Limitation on Time to File Claims

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, A CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE WEBSITE OR THESE TERMS MUST BE FILED WITHIN ONE YEAR AFTER IT ACCRUES. A CLAIM FILED AFTER THAT PERIOD IS PERMANENTLY BARRED.

Waiver and Severability

A waiver of one term or condition is not a continuing waiver and does not waive another term. A failure to enforce a right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.

If a court or other tribunal finds a provision invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the provision will be removed or limited only as much as necessary, and the remaining Terms will continue in effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the complete agreement between you and Trusted Pro Contractors concerning the Website. They replace prior and contemporaneous written and oral understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties concerning the Website.
